Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Growing up, she listened to lots of classical music and old boleros. Also, she listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing. However, she started more intense training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra at 16 when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera Tenor. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, as well being a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choirs. After moving into the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to southern California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions singing traditional Latin American Music. Her love and passion for art, music, and performing has her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana has been a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
